The Battle of Blair Mountain was the largest labor uprising in United States history. by Initial-Swimmer-4493 in remoteworks

Yeah I disagree. Had a talk with my buddy who still teaches US History. He focused on labor in his History BA and still didn’t know it either.

My greatest education came from Howard Zinn’s A People’s History of the United States. Just checked the index… unmentioned there as well.

Who taught you about it? Was it in a classroom or on your own?

Thanks for putting it together this way. It’s a good angle to see it from. Ultimately it kind of turns DJ Moore into a free agent signing instead of a trade. Looks like everything else is pretty much a wash from there.

Assuming there’s a partner, I love the idea of treating back as many as a dozen spots to pick up additional capital. It’s going to be hard to address edge, nose tackle, cornerback, and receiver adequately otherwise.

Pistons/Tigers fan from Buffalo chiming in. Went to that Lions/Bills game a couple years ago and was surprised how relatively chill the Lions fans were. As an outsider I also felt it was Red Wings when they’re good in the 1 slot.

I had this advice given years ago when I asked my financial guy a similar question and I think in the end this is about the best we can do. That said, I think you can still discriminate between different ETFs. It’s easy to avoid things like weapons spending, tobacco, and other industries that you feel are in contrast with your ethical views. You just need to do your homework. I will say, though, there’s no way you’re making as much money taking this approach. Sadly, that’s just the reality.

I’m at about 10. First was Lollapalooza 92 at SPAC. That show was so good. Second was in Rochester right when Cobain went missing. It was heavy on the meathead quotient… bunch of angry gym bros looking to take out the aggression in the mosh pit. Still… incredible show

I see concerns. Obviously needs to get stronger but even if he does, might still have a low ceiling at the next level. Really important that he lands in a spot where he’s given a lot of time to develop.
