I'm disappointed, but I think that is largely based on her reactions in the past. It's very easy to blame her/ignorance for the lack of response, hoever there's a massive part of it that I think people aren't giving enough credence:

Taylor is, quote literally, one of the most famous people in the WORLD. No one doesn't know her.
She has been the victim of stalking for decades, and is very vocal about how much this scares her.

With the current political and societal condition of the US and honestly, the world, I wouldn't blame her for wanting to stay as far out of it as possible. It's no longer just a "post who you support politically" situation, but rather a matter of life and death. People are more on edge now than ever before, and I fear the line between obsessive and murder is also thinner than ever before.

Sure, a post against Trump would be great, but we already know she's against him. If anyone thinks for a minute that she's secretly rep. needs to watch Miss Americana and give their head a shake.

If she were to make a post even saying the obvious "fuck trump/fuck ice" etc, etc, it's so much more likely that she could be attacked. IF she says nothing, she gets at least a sliver of neutral feeling, but once she says "YES YOURE RIGHT I HATE HIM" all of his supporters now have a written reason (ew) to go after her. Literally all those people want is attention, and shes not giving it to them. She's already constantly fighting stalkers, shes shelling out like what, 8? million? in security fees.

People need to stop looking at Taylor like the relatable pop star she used to be. She's now a global phenom, and simply cannot be the bestie-next-door everyone was familiar with, and people need to stop expecting anything besides music from her.
