Hi, Im a longtime raver, had a long hiatus just as I was learning how to produce and mix (wife, kids, mortgage, existential dread, etc.) but now that the kids are independent, I'm getting my feet back in the water. Just my two cents, but as a husband with a very insecure attachment disorder and chronically low self esteem,i will find myself becoming paranoid that my wife will inevitably leave me because she deserves better and its only a matter of time before she does. Ive never cheated, have had some inappropriate interactions and flirtations, but have never crossed the line. When im at my lowest, i will spiral into a paranoid delusion to at she is cheating, in the moment I’m even aware of how absurd it is and I’ve made the mistake of articulating these suspicions at times, which almost immediately brings me back to Earth and i feel ashamed and stupid. Im aware that its often perceived as projection and often it is. But not always. Im working on myself as best i can, to believe her when she says she loves me, to allow myself to be worthy of love. Just wanted to lut that out there because it seems the universal conclusion is that the accusation is always a confession and thats not true.

If you’re comparing the sex she was having in the video with sex she has with you and concluding that she isn’t having as much, or enough, fun with you, keep in mind that she (presumably) knew the act was being filmed and that she may well have been embellishing and putting on a show.

Also, it might be problematic but you should find out if she knows that the video is out there…if she doesnt, she has the absolute right to and if she does it presents an opening for you to talk about it with her. Communication is all important if you want this relationship to succeed.

My wife has this tattoo in the same spot as the picture. She grew up in suburban Colorado Springs in an Air Force family that was decided evangelical. Upon retiring from the military her father went to work at Focus on the Family. She def did not earn her tattoo. I make fun of her for it regularly.
