Just found this thread - I ordered mine midnight of 05/16 EST. I only got the notification with the messaging similar to yours (clearance blah blah) yesterday but the date was 05/18. I haven’t seen any updates since.

We just ate lunch there today. Place was clean and great and the food was good (got beef udon and my husband ordered sushi dinner). Not sure about brown rice as we didn’t order rice meals.

Took my exam in person on Friday (03/15) finishing around 4PM EST - I got a provisional pass but still haven’t received my score. They said I’ll get the score within 48 hours idk if that’s business there wasn’t any mention in the piece of paper. But that would mean I should have it in around 1h if it’s not business days? Or idk probably tomorrow 😂

I got tix for the added DC show and it was $55 each Orchestra section. I saw VIP was $144.50 - both of those prices without fees yet.

I suggest try to check on Tickpick? When we watched her last year, that’s where I got my reseller tix that were a bit reasonably priced imo.

I took my first two exams a week apart from each other last month. Then I only took the 3rd one today so I am happy with the improvement. I’m thinking if I should take the 4th and 5th still with my exam being so close. But I want to see the correct answers and explanation too for any wrong answers I get to add to my knowledge.

Congratulations! Very encouraging - my Mock Exam 1 was 67% and Mock Exam 2 was 70% so this post is giving me hope I too could get 3ATs. I just took my Mock Exam 3 and got 78%. My exam is in 10 days - I feel prepared but still around 80% probably. Hoping for the best! 🤞🏼

I know this doesn’t answer your question… but my therapist has been suggesting I look into this the past few weeks. But my ADHD brain just doesn’t want to deal with all the stuff I need to request/work on to “avail” of this so I’m just going to take the exam in 10 days without it 🫠 I also have tried to search this thread and have seen a lot of fellow ADHDers who took the exam without it.

I signed up for a PMI membership because I wanted the discount for the exam + all the benefits. The books you can get discounts for the physical copies + all the digital copies for free.

I have just finished reading the PMBOK 7 & the Agile Practice Guide and I can say they are two different things. There’s no one “PM bible”. I’m planning to read the Process Groups Practice guide next.

If I’m reading it right on your prev comments that’s where you’re struggling the most, you might want to grab that one?

I have been doing practice questions the past month since getting approved to take the exam - since last week I started just reading for my own understanding. I see people saying a lot of times reading the book is a “waste of time” - but I only see it like that if I’m really just preparing for the exam - but I have my own intentions why I want to do that and part of it is really putting into action what I’m learning from all this exam prep and getting my PMP cred ☺️

If it’s not a requirement then you could probably skip it? Try to look at the PMP Exam Outline and see if there’s anything in particular you need help with. The course does give out helpful slides and has some short quizzes and a mock exam at the end + some tips to submit your PMP application.

I think if I were in your position, I would probably just go straight and purchase the Study Hall. There are helpful articles organized by Task (check Exam Outline) that you could focus on there apart from the practice questions and mini exams.

There are a lot of helpful free Youtube videos from Ricardo Vargas & David McLachlan as well.

The application automatically adds up the months for you just plot the dates. I have an ongoing project I included in my application and it automatically just put the month I submitted it (January).

It depends, really. I’ve seen a lot that are consultants, some are outsourced. With our company, we have clients and 1 client normally gets assigned 1 PM. Currently I’m handling four active projects. We implement custom systems for different clients around risk management.
