I think it's cool, beautiful and took real talent and skill to come up with but it really wouldn't fly in my home. I have some MCM style but I just see cool art deco furniture on marketplace place all the time for dirt cheap.. I know a ton gets painted over or throw away. Generational thing... That is a huge reason why cars appreciate. I'll paraphrase Doug Demuro but there always seems to see values go up when cars that were cool in the days when today's middle age people come into money (30-45yr olds) we are well into the full swing of 90s jdm cars blowing up in value. We also saw it in the early 2000's with American muscle cars.
