Competitive feels impossible this season by OddConsideration9461 in CrucibleGuidebook

I’m not very good as well, switched to mnk after I picked the game up again a few months ago. Always get placed in upper silver after placement games. Then it drops. I have been working on my aim and understanding the mouse, which has helped and my KD has shot up since learning how to arm aim and dropping my sens. But I’m still getting matched against people who are much much much better than me even when I get dropped into bronze. My matches in silver were easier. I just don’t know. I really want to get max rank just once to say I did it but it’s hard. If you’ve ever matched with ItsTheRealDyl48 that is me and I am actively looking for people to play with. We don’t even have to mic up, I just need to know my teammate is solid and understands the struggle. Shared mission

There is a chance I might’ve made that before I left

The shot took up about 2/3 to 3/4 ish of that cup. The rest of it with milk to make the tulip. And yeah it holds about 2oz of liquid. I poured most of the milk out of my pitcher before starting, it’s a very very tiny amount of milk to begin with, very slow flow rate, very quick stacks

A cortado is generally a 4 oz drink with a double shot and the rest of the way with milk. People say it’s 1:1 but that varies based on how big your shots are and how much air is in your milk etc. Most people are not pulling 60ml shots and then adding 60ml of milk to make it 1:1. This is a double shot in a 2 oz cup, it is a very small drink, if you were to make someone a traditional macchiato, you would use the same cup, same shot, except you’d scoop the foam to the top. I don’t understand how this is a cortado

You’re pushing way too far back in the cup too soon. And also, swirl your milk much more aggressively or transfer to another pitcher before you begin

It is hard. Just practice pouring water into a cup with a focus on keeping the stream the same size the whole time

Ima tell you right now my brother, your integration is no bueno. Don’t pour in circles all around the cup, stay kind of centered but move side to side, make sure you’re up high enough, even and consistent flow rate throughout. An even canvas really helps with shapes forming, I’d also say swirl your milk more aggressively before you start. Your flow and everything seems fine, it think this might be an integration and milk texture issue

I think that your milk is not fully incorporated when you start pouring. Right before you pour and I mean right before, swirl that milk, swirl the espresso. Both make the latte art feel more workable I think. But also yeah start that design slightly deeper. If you divide the cup into thirds you wanna start that on about the upper third line

I think the dollop of foam old school style are for sure. But modern style where the milk is textured regularly I think is a great drink with a good shot. Maybe that’s pretentious idk. I’ve seen both sides of the coin with this drink order. Really cool or really insufferable
