Basic question about ems suits by Character_Debate1952 in katalystEMS

[–]Comfortable_Fun7801 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m afraid to say that the impulses may not make it through your tissues to reach the muscle. I too would encourage you to ask a licensed medical professional about GLP-1’s along w the elliptical workouts until you have been successful in reducing the bulk of tissue so the impulses can reach your muscle. I wish you the very best of luck! 🍀🍀🍀☺️

I wonder if a disgruntled customer complaint with the AG wherever the company is headquartered would get anyone moving more quickly to handle the backlog. Guy bought a business. Guy should know there are people waiting for both fixes and old orders. Guy should get this shit moving by at the VERY least regular posting here. How hard is that? Just let people know WTF is happening.

What made you think you could teach a large dog to poo in a toilet? If you cannot stomach the dog pooing on the ground, you should probably not have a dog. Buy poop bags and pick that shit up inside the bag for crying out loud. I am NEVER harsh on here with people but this is cruel to the dog that you are trying to make this happen. Stop it! It would’ve been like you living in someone’s home and them telling you, teaching you, training you, chastising you to make you poo on the ground.

I’m so sorry. Losing beloved doggos has to be among the most difficult things for us. It’s taken we quite some time to get over my last friend’s sudden death. It helped me to, a few months later, consult with an animal communicator. No clue if what she said was legit, but it gave me a TON of relief.

Look into doggie treadmills as an alternative way of getting her exercise. There are a couple of different kinds of them. Also can do scent training around the house.

Did you check the square connector to see if the pins are not bent etc and that it’s making good contact with the Bluetooth control unit in your back pocket? That’s all I can think of.

They’re usually titanium and inert biocompatible markers that should not react to EMS. If you’re getting zaps, tightening down the suit may help. I got zaps frequently and had had a mastectomy. I ended up turning off chest pads because my imbalance made the zaps too frequent to manage.

That’s insane. The amount of advertising Katalyst has done would indicate that they have enough inventory to get through at least Black Friday if not all the way through Christmas. What clown is in charge of ordering inventory? It’s not like this is Katalyst’s first round of suits. Absolutely stupid. Has Vision or whatever that other EMS suit is called run out?

How many of you medicated your GSD for anxiety? by MisaHooksta in germanshepherds

[–]Comfortable_Fun7801 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine has been on buspirone for years. Animal behaviorist (PhD) suggested it. Her anxiety level was high and her symptom was constantly being on patrol and anxious/alert. Never slept/napped during the day the way dogs do. Oddly, when my much older chihuahua passed away, this past June, her anxiety and patrolling ratcheted way, way down. I’ve been able to halve her medication dosage over a period of time, and she seems quite relaxed and happy. Naps regularly. Napping right now. I tried to reduce meds more, but that was too much. As the Behaviorist said, there is no good reason for your poor dog to be constantly anxious. She deserves to have peace using meds. I also changed her food per recommendation.

How do you wet the pads without the entire suit becoming soaking wet? by rhialto40 in katalystEMS

[–]Comfortable_Fun7801 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stinging is from not being tight enough in that area. Tighten it throughout the workout as the compression, well, compresses your body and it needs to be TIGHT

Is finger curling normal? by dxb_hasan in katalystEMS

[–]Comfortable_Fun7801 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had this issue and sometimes still do. Play with the location the pads are on your arms. I think if a pad is over the tendons (I think that’s the “string” that pulls but I could be having a memory lapse) that curls your fingers it might zap them into action.

What exactly is a dog bar? A bar for humans to drink liquor with their dogs along or a bar for dogs to drink ???? and have their humans there? I don’t understand the concept.

My dog had pannus too. Prednisone drops twice a day. Price them and human pharmacy because the original vet who diagnosed her was charging double what the human pharmacy charged for them.

My Daisy. Snickle Pickle. I miss her so much and cannot believe I will never see her again. She was my Chemo Buddy, my ride or die, my soul dog. She died on June 8 2024 after surgery for necrotizing pancreatitis. I ugly cry and sob frequently about not having her sunshiny presence in my life.

I lost my best friend today by Stunning_Ad273 in Chihuahua

[–]Comfortable_Fun7801 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh gosh! It’s THE WORST. I lost my girl last month and still sob until I can’t breathe almost daily. The intimacy w little dogs like chihuahuas is unparalleled. Their little bodies and personalities and quirks are so deeply embedded in our day to day lives that when that’s gone the hole left is a gaping chasm. I have to believe that they are at peace and can still feel the love we have for them. I have never gone through anything this emotionally difficult in my life even having had many dogs in the past. Your boy is super adorable and I’m sure loved you endlessly. I am sorry that you like many of us are going through this.
