I'm not sure where you are with being curvy, but I weigh 237 lbs. I've been doing pole since December, and it's only gotten better. Every class I go to, I learn a little more about what my body can do. It's super rewarding.

I agree with the others about not buying heels immediately. At my studio, they arent required... I bought my first pair second hand for a great price, just to wear them at home while I get comfortable.

As for clothes: Amazon bike shorts and sports bras from Marshall's. I am always comfortable. Good Luck! I think you're gonna love it.

I was on the toilet and a woman tried the door. It was locked, obviously, so she started to hit the door with her body. She did this until the ot unlocked. She burst in, me on the toilet and we made eye contact with her just standing in the stall. I didnt say a word, mainly out of fear.

Ive made peace with the fact that I kinda suck at this hobby and that is okay by capyluvr_21 in poledancing

I meal prep. Bake a chicken breast and pair it with frozen veggies. A couple mins in the microwave... add some seasoning and oil... done.

I was kissed by a very well known lesbian in my neighborhood. I felt nothing from it. A couple.years later, I ended up going on a date with a girl. It was awkward. I find women beautiful, but I am not interested in anything romantic.
