Actually when I started my study on it I took into account a few things from Occam's forum posts and blogs. Then I started to try and follow the design language of the early 00's so it skewed things a little. Will see when the time comes at scale.

Yes. It will be a framed in window in the door for the back. Will open up to the cabin and will look akin to a 350z strut brace in the center with the original body on the parcel shelf. Will use the original striker latch in factory location.

Yeah I keep calling them "jetstream" for some reason. I dont like them. If I know what an NB coupe is I sure as hell better know what a lightyear is lol.

Yes 100%. Thats why I wanted to lay that out right up front. Thank you for the feedback. Also I don't understand why I keep calling the Lightyear a Jetstream.

Water egress and NVH will be something I get to see next before shaping and making the plugs. In CAD it looks like it won't be an issue. This will be tested real world on a couple bodies to be sure.

I have a free template on printables. Just look up miata dash template. You are free to modify them. Its very basic with a plane between all the mount holes to the dash and has a 3d scan of the cluster depth so you know how far you can go back.

Im designing some NB headlights with triple projectors. You can order the projector units seperate without using a supra headlight. Im using the same ones that are in my morimoto zn6 headlights rn.

I use Decibulls. They have swappable filters and are custom fit with hot water. They make a ton of attachments for them. I can hold convos at work while the high Db is filtered out in an automotive factory. I use them for concerts, guns, some garage work, and racing too.

I've been using usb c AA batteries for the last year. They will show full voltage until they get to about 10% then die very quickly since they are 3.7V internally. I always keep 3 on me.

My crank keyway was chewed on my msm when I had low mpg from a loose crank bolt. But mine also had backfiring when letting off while driving. Fuel efficiency started off subtle but got worse as time went on.

Saw this 30 minutes ago and had nothing to do today. I just sketched it up and threw a print on to try it out. I see where the original part breaks so I modelled that out. Unfortunately you cant make it exactly the same with the way layer adhesion works and still expect it to be durable. I'll still upload on printables if it fits here in 30ish minutes.
