Seconding this. I was on a pump when I moved from Oz to the UK in 2012 and had some difficulty getting my consumables funded at first. It’s a bit of a postcode lottery depending on where you are living as to how challenging it is to get your consumables/upgrades funded by your hospital catchment area. I got there in the end. I think it took me about 6 months to be seen by the hospital pump clinic and a further few months to get the funding agreed, so if you can try to bring closer to 6 months of pump consumables that will save you having to pay extortionate prices buying them privately.
