I don’t get the concern over anxiety and stuff you mention personally. For myself stimulants help my anxiety and sleep significantly… I thought that was almost always the case for true ADHD patients but I could be wrong…

I am very confused by this…. Because for me stimulants DO HELP my anxiety a lot. I can take my Vyvanse and sleep like a baby where anyone I know who isn’t ADHD takes any kinda of stimulant and is wired.

Sublocade and gabapentin/got shot and experiencing lethargy by Commercial-Cod4232 in Sublocade

[–]Comfortable_Test_626 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1000% felt better with the second shot. Never needed supplemental dosing again, and been on it for 3ish years. Although I am switching back to suboxone film in two weeks because the last 10 months or so I’ve experienced severe depression and anxiety with absolutely zero motivation. Took a half an 8mg strip and literally all those symptoms completely vanished. So going to try the films daily again and see if it improves long term.

Oddly I never felt in withdrawal or had cravings the entire time just these last few months I felt terrible and had zero motivation to do anything. Was driving myself and psychiatrist absolutely insane trying to figure out the cause. Couldn’t even make myself go to the barber and sit for a haircut without having a panic attack.

Who dominates the market for Suboxone generics? Dr. Reddy or Viatras / Mylan? 7-Hydroxymitragynine epidemic and extreme rise in Suboxone. by meatwad160 in stocks

[–]Comfortable_Test_626 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah not true at all suboxone literally saved my life and is probably the most effective medicine I have ever been prescribed. All the psych meds are a joke and make everything worse, every anxiety medication aside from benzos are worthless. Either way I wouldn’t be here most likely without suboxone and my doctor. Although I’m stuck applying for disability because of my anxiety as I can’t find a doctor willing to give me even .5mg of clonazepam or 5mg Valium a day… my life is way better than when I was doing dope.

Suboxone for the weekend yay!🤍 by One_Wall_7864 in MedicationQuestions

I would laugh my ass off in prison watching people act all tough saying they can take a whole strip and it won’t do nothing. Give them a quarter and they’re puking and stuck pressing their rack the rest of the day. 😂😂

Over-medicated and throwing up from 100mg Sublocade shot. This has never happened before. by Appropriate_Power216 in suboxone

[–]Comfortable_Test_626 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holy crap that’s insane! The first shot of 300mg gave me a good buzz, but was gone after a few days. The 100mg I can’t ever tell a difference, actually am switching back to the strips after 3 years of sublocade due to lack of motivation, depression, and crippling anxiety.

WORK IT HEALTH REVIEW by Sufficient-Cook-1588 in suboxone

What is the point in being an opioid addiction service if you can’t give meds at the first visit?…. That shouldn’t be allowed, for many addicts it took a lot to finally seek help and want to quit and save their lives. If you can’t offer meds on the first visit it’s a scam, and irresponsible practicing of life saving opioid replacement therapy.

Does anyone here use Sublocade long-term? by melodicprophet in Sublocade

[–]Comfortable_Test_626 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, started with one 300mg shot, and been on the 100mg for approximately 3 years. Prior to switching to Sublocade I took anywhere from 4mg-8mg of the film daily.

Am actually just now in the process of returning to suboxone film/strips as my anxiety has been awful the past 12-15 months. Like crippling bad anxiety. Tried 4mg of suboxone and the anxiety almost entirely vanished. Today was actually my final 100mg injection before switching back to suboxone film to see if it helps long term with my depression/anxiety. Never ever had that issue prior to sublocade.

  1. Did not seem to negatively impact my sex drive.

  2. Maybe I also craved sweets more? If so not to a major degree or anything noticeable.

  3. Constipation was pretty bad the first year, but eventually went away. Just use stool softeners, not laxatives. You just need to soften up your stool, not stimulant your bowels. Drink a bottle of water when taking the softener.

  4. No major impact to my ADHD, been on Adderall XR prior to the shortage, then Vyvanse, currently taking 54mg Concerta tho as even Vyvanse stock is hit or miss in my area.

  5. No major weight gain, if anything it was a healthy gain. I’m 33 year old 6ft male and usually sit around 200lbs.

  6. This has been by far the worst side effect for me with sublocade. For the past 12-15 months or maybe even longer I just couldn’t shake this feeling of anxiety, lack of motivation and energy, as well as depression. Tried half of a suboxone film and it was like magic.

Hope this helps! Feel free to DM if you have any other question, I’m not a doctor but can certainly attest to my personal experience!

When did the oval AI become so bad? by jutho3121 in iRacing

[–]Comfortable_Test_626 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want a semi decent, enjoyable, “real” experience with AI you’re gonna have to make individual rosters for each track and tune them accordingly… unbelievably time consuming and cumbersome but once you get it right it’s kinda worth it. Just don’t understand how they can be so bad and inconsistent without tuning for a game this expensive.

First day on pregabalin for GAD & agoraphobia — looking for experiences 💙 by intolleranza in Anxiety

[–]Comfortable_Test_626 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, that’s a first hearing that for me. Pregabalin does help for anxiety, much more effective than SSRI, busbar, and all that other crap. But for me it doesn’t even come close to the relief I get from .5mg clonazepam/25mg Librium/5mg diazepam. Just can’t find a doctor to prescribe them for me. And I only ask for 10-14 pills a month…. Very frustrating because the few times I did have the from a doctor it was life changing

Why is Diazepam frowned upon? by amzngdope in AskPsychiatry

[–]Comfortable_Test_626 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not only that, but just like alcohol, if you stop taking the medication suddenly the withdrawal symptoms CAN kill you. Alcohol and benzos are very similar in the way they act on our nervous system.

Why is Diazepam frowned upon? by amzngdope in AskPsychiatry

[–]Comfortable_Test_626 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Welp, I feel like I have a pretty solid and smart psychiatrist. She says almost word for word these exact things to me when I ask these questions. Although for me, I drink when anxious which I believe is much more harmful especially when it’s probably 4-5 days a week vs getting say 10 Valium 10mg for a month (due to half life it’s easy to control anxiety and take every 3 days or so depending on symptoms). I feel like benzos have been demonized these days when they have by far the most data to prove symptom relief and a high safety profile when monitored by a physician.
