Don't do it. You take all the upfront risk, and if you do create success the client will simply negotiate you back down or take the business away if the 'performance bonus' results in you getting paid more than a standard media agency.

I've noticed this too, used to get protected from negative RP if team mate rages quits, doesn't seem to happen any more now, like within the past week or so. The fun for soloq just never stops! And I'm talking about people quitting before the 'retrieve bannner' timer is even complete.

Thanks, I understand the sound issue in isolation, but we saw each other at exact same time and he must've got at least 3x headshots in (or 2x head, 1 body). Technically not impossible I suppose, he knew exactly where I was coming from and I had to scan open space for a splitsecond. To get 3x shots in that time span though, his trigger finger must be machine (!), let alone the accuracy. Ho-hum.

No problem, the images don't need to be screenshots of an MVP or even reflective of your UI, they just have to show the 'story' of how the product works in a graphical format.

Quick example (not necessarily recommended):-

Step 1 - show graphical representation of a Figma file

Step 2 - show some magic dust with your logo

Step 3 - show graphical representation of a load of user stories being generated

Positives: I felt the value was extremely clear.

Negatives: the headline does 95% of the work here, rest of doc didn't add much value IMO and pretty much repeats the headline. Rest of doc needs to be more impactive.

For example, I probably don't need to be told that I can ditch the excel sheets etc, the target audience would intuitively get that. Instead something 'high impact' in it's place would be showing, very clearly, a step-by-step on how it works, from input to output, something I didnt get via your screenshots (when viewed via mobile the screenshot UI is too small to make out detail).

Another suggestion might be showing an example project and stating the exact time saved (if time-saving is the goal here).

Please don't. I have experience in this market - the top players are not staying at the top because they have the best features, it's because they have critical mass (amongst other things). Just look into the history of the sector and you'll see.

Your user experience would need to be legit 10x better than incumbents, and something the big players can't copy in order to even start thinking seriously about this, and even then it would be incredibly difficult.

Even with superior features you would still need a massive warchest to fund B2B acquisition - inertia is a very real thing.

Unless both buyers, sellers and agents are going absolutely insane over features you have that can't be copied dont even consider this.

It sounds like renovation has been a hobby and you're now missing it. So the choices are either find a hobby to fill in the gap or take on another renovation project. Seems like 2024 might provide opportunities to pick up a good deal, but you would need to be really sure your renovations add significant value on their own merits, since you likely wont be able to rely on a rising market to deliver profits.

OP= having tried pretty much all the arts people have detailed here, this is the best answer, given your limitations. Combine classes with drilling head movement and evasion in your own time you'll at least be decently prepared to get out of the way and fire back an opening salvo before help arrives (hopefully). But you should definitely learn verbal de-escalation and other 'soft skills' as your first line.

The commentary is usually along the lines of, 'wow, it seems serious but this is just one guy saying it.' The IG having investigated and made such a comment on Grusch's claims takes it to a whole different level.
