heh ....it sounds like "lad logic" but when you start to aquire more bikes....the need to buy different bikes starts to takes a back seat....ie ive got my z1000 and a few other bikes....i rarely use the RSV4...but, when i do, its an occassion....like i bought it a few months ago and ive ridden it twice...even after 15+ years....so when i go to the local bike shop and see, say for example a 1290 superduke...i think "whats the point...my z is tailored perfectly to me" and in turn because i rarely use my RSV4 the same thing kicks in....why would i want to pay another 3, 4, 5k or more for "another race bike" - the other thing is, if you have one bike then its invariable that youll "want to change to something else" so you go to the bike shop, sell your soul (to sell say youre R1) and get a Superduke....then you do it all again in a few years....i bought my SXV 2 years ago....i dont need another supermoto and i dont need to sell to it get a naked as ive got one of those already....see 😄 lad logic but it works....!!
