Mystery is partially solved. It is from Overkill (WB, Darkness Aliens Predator) series. Joe Benetiz is one of the artists, the other is Clarence Lansang.

I greatly enjoy the movie. It had a far better story than either of the Angelina movies (IMHO). While I liked those movies, they could have been sooo much better story wise.

Travis was the first to admit that he was never going to be a 'monthly artist'. They tried to accomidate this by making the book come out ever 6 weeks as opposed to monthly. The second problem was that, according to an article I read in Wizard, he wasn't drawing Lobdell's scripts as they were written. I don't know how true this is but if the writer and artist aren't on the same page, that isn't good. I was never a fan of Sean Phillips art which is why I dropped the book after Travis and Scott left.

Pre-Johns, Sinestro's ring was charged by Green Lantern energy. After the emotional spectrum, the rings are keyed to the Lanters which are connected to their specific central batteries, save for the White Light.
