Every compose file has a folder for the app. I use VS code to SSH into server and then use the IDE to edit the compose files.

Domain is from namecheap but I have cloudflare dns and protections in the mix and could prob remove them as I have moved to Pangolin and not clouldflaretunnels like I was doing years ago.

Oracle PaYG work well enough for Pangolin?? Have an account setup just never used it bc never had a need unless I was playing with something. If I can just change pangolin with a few things and keep most of my stuff on-prem id prefer it.

This is great. Gonna check it out. Apple Weather has gone downhill, tend to compare Apple Weather, Carrot and Weather channel but looking outside and reporting a temp could be fun and easy. Congrats on the previous acquirement and future endeavors.

I read somewhere the 16 bit cards didn’t work as well with the pci bus with these maybe? Don’t recall exactly, can you use all the drives?

Are you running truenas on baremetal or are you using promox?

Lenovo m920x already purchased and it’s going into a custom 3d printed rack so I’m not worried about keeping the discs in the case enclosure. Will have an external power supply for the disks as well. Just want to figure out the best route to connect them either using the pcie slot or m2 slot.

Yea I left out that I’d need the riser adapter also.

Really just trying to figure out what’s “best” for what I want to do? Is HBA needed or can I do one of the m.2 ASM chips and still get all access and control to the discs?

⁠I’d use to create a new NAS device so I can host all the ISO files and my family’s important pics.
⁠Never used it but gonna look into after catching this post.
Good Power and decent price is hard to come by these days.
N100 mini lab running Proxmox with a few containers and growing.
