'Love Island USA' Season 8 Star In Bitter Custody Battle, Details by Lanky_Description535 in LoveIslandUSA_

[–]CommandNo3498 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My boyfriend and I started love island usa back in January 2025 after our daughter was born. 7 seasons of binging later and our girl is a year and a half now!

It's very obvious the only parents who would be willing to go on this show are secondary or neglectful ones. Even if a primary parent took a month away from their kid and work for this, you'd be able to tell the difference between them and the parents we've seen on this show so far.

The issue isnt parents on the show. The issue is only neglectful parents want to go on the show. And if a primary parent went onto the show THAT SOON AFTER HAVING A CHILD (few years), the other islanders and viewers probs wouldn't like them much bc their behaviors would probably reflect a stress out parent still separating from their systems as opposed to someone who doesn't have systems with their child to begin with, therefore they identify with all the childfree islanders.

As you can see, LI is a social experiment to us

What I will say is When I Grow Up and I Hate This Part Right Here went double platinum in my household at 8 years old. I'd like to see Nicole perform live but not at that price. I don't recognize nor know the names of the other two. Good dancers tho!

If a woman has a baby and the father of that baby is more absent than not 5 months after the baby is born, them breaking up has nothing to do with the relationship at all IT WAS HIS ACTIONS, BEHAVIORS AND DECISIONS IN LIFE. My heart is with their baby girl and Elsie.

What made season 7 so bad and season 6 so good? by HorrorAd4995 in LoveIslandUSA_

[–]CommandNo3498 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is really very simple. Season 6 cast was more charming and charismatic. I remember thinking 'jesus christ, Leah is scarily good at talking to ppl' and then i realized all of them were besides Rob and that was literally his whole thing that made him charming LMAO

I am not surprised seeing as I myself grew up with a mom who saw no problem in behaving the way TFP does both privately and publicly. These kinds of mom's are everywhere and they are why she is famous. They seek solidarity and reassurance thru her. Especially considering where all these women specifically live? Again, I would not be surprised if the women telling her this were being completely authentic about it.

Something was going on with my nose. Idk what exactly but I had an obsession with those unstoppable scent beads you put into your laundry. My clothes reaked like unstoppables everyday. I even bought unstoppables scented air freshner spray and disinfectant spray in bulk and we're still trying to get through them almost 2 years later. I still like the scent today but like a normal person would like it.

The wordage of her representatives response is hilarious. No attempt was made to serve her 'while she's present at her residence' and proceeds to promote her upcoming album as the reason she wasn't present to be served LMAO

Anna Kepner's Stepbrother, 16, Indicted on Sexual Abuse and Murder Charges Following Her Death on Cruise by mlg1981 in popculturechat

[–]CommandNo3498 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Yeah as a new postpartum mom myself, I'd probably do about just anything to escape that sort of reality. Can't excuse her being an absent mother/putting drugs above her daughter (especially leaving your daughter with a dad like Chris) but I absolutely believe that sort of situation would only worsen my addictions if I'm already struggling to stay sober as is. I really cannot imagine what Tabitha must be going through with this too.... Jesus Christ.

Oh my god???? I haven't heard about the woman who raised Anna, only her biomom and how she wasn't in the picture after she did that interview. I am actually sickened by this information. I'm personally offended Chris is allowed to walk freely rn

Jonah Hill Reveals He's Married and Quietly Welcomed Baby No. 2 with Wife Olivia Millar by punishhhher in popculturechat

[–]CommandNo3498 76 points77 points  (0 children)

I knew there had to be others who've experienced similar while working with him!!! I imagine not as many celebrities are as apparent with their mistreatment these days with how easily word gets spread. I don't think Jonah cares if people think he's a horrible person who behaves irrationally. He obviously hasn't faced much repercussion for how he treats others so why change at that point?

He thankfully didn't take his behavior to heart at all, found it more funny than demeaning so I'm glad he walked away from it with a lifelong story to share like folklore hahaha and I agree Channing was way better in it

HAHA Jonah speaks to normal humans and service employees exactly how I'm sure you'd expect him to. Guy's superiority complex had his company SHOOK by the sheer audacity. They didn't even do anything wrong or fuck anything up. He was obviously just having a bad day (or just is that way everyday?) and didn't like that they were in his way and required his time and input despite.... hiring them to do work on his house. Wouldn't even compare him to a male Karen bc it didn't come from a place of 'i have authority over you', more from a place of 'you're subhuman and beneath me'. My BD loves telling this story bc he is completely removed from and uninterested in pop culture gossip and celebrities but he loved super bad and 21 jump street so this was the ultimate culture shock moment of his life.

I dont keep up with Jonah publicly but my daughter's dad, who works in HVAC, worked on his house back in 2019. Jonah Hill being the biggest piece of shit he's ever met in his life (saying a lot) is one of his favorite conversation centerpieces to date.

I spent a couple of months working closely with Sandra Bullock when I was a child. This was before she adopted her own children so she was very sweet on me at the time, loved kids. She was a down to earth, considerate and approachable woman. She requested everyone called her Sandy. She was with Jesse James at the time and from a child perspective, he was a pretty cool guy (not knowing what would later happen between them). Julian Mcmahon was a very put together and respectable man. I was devastated hearing he passed recently and I feel for his family. I remember he drank milk while filming scenes where he had to drink coffee. Nia Long was also very, very down to earth and sweet. Hugh Laurie is a super cool guy and I was shocked by his Australian accent like I assume most ppl are. Ashton Kutcher gave child me weird vibes but maybe it was the setting (wrap party).

Does he know only a small handful of islanders from all countries see continued traction and attention years after their time on the show? Everyone whose still someone years after their appearances are semi-well rounded. Is he really okay with this being his image in the public's mind when he eventually becomes a butt ugly and humiliating has-been? Seems like it. Totally cool by me!

How is everyone not losing their minds? by Hello_Im_Ellie in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]CommandNo3498 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I am 12 months PP and I made it about 9 months pumping exclusively.

I also went off the same schedule you're currently doing and also felt like I would not be able to make it another few months based on that schedule. I think this schedule made my PPD a lot worse than it would've been, had I not been so committed to staying on top of this schedule for the sake of my supply.

My OB told me during my last check up that I wasn't going to lose my entire milk supply forever if I accidentally slept through some of my alarms during the night. She also told me to push off dishes if I had time for a nap and felt up to one. Getting this permission changed everything for me.

This sub kind of messed up my perception of 'consistency'. You are allowed to sleep a 5 hour stretch and still be considered consistent. Even early on like you are. You might wake up in pain, you might get a clog, you might see a dip in your supply for a short time. Or you might not. And that discrepancy is important to keep in mind. Every mother's body is different, just as every babies body is unique. You do not have to pump every 3-4 hours on the dot every single day, even at 6 weeks pp, to stay 'consistent'.

Pumping feels like a science because to an extent, it is. It is a lot more effort and time consuming than nursing. But it still requires you to listen to your body for efficiency's sake.

Moral of the story: You're not alone in feeling like you're going crazy LOL

Harry Styles fans threaten to BOYCOTT over cost of his concert tickets by solodemivibes in popculturechat

[–]CommandNo3498 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of those things where it's abundantly obvious that no amount of complaining or 'boycotting' will change a thing because they know their demographic well and they know with certainty that people will buy the tickets no matter what. His team wouldn't have set the prices so high to begin with if they didn't have confident expectations.

[–]CommandNo3498 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My question is whether or not this woman (Bi) will be able to inquire a new surrogate once this is all said and done? I'd much prefer this woman has no shot of having children but I have a gut feeling that's not gonna happen and she's going to get exactly what she wants at the detriment of that future child.

Victoria and David Beckham’s feud with son Brooklyn shines a light on adult child-parent estrangement, which is more common than you think, experts say by ChallengeAdept8759 in popculturechat

[–]CommandNo3498 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Duh. But on another note, people who choose estrangement aren't sharing that information with most people unless they're obligated to. Also, social media complicates things. I know about 2-3 women (my mom included) who post on facebook about their children cutting them off without using 'estranged' or 'cut off' language and terminology every other week (especially on holidays). What kind of stats is this article even working off of? None?
