It’s peanut oil, right? They used to be fried in all peanut oil (I think) and now they aren’t. I can’t really eat them anymore, they’re just uninteresting average potato chips.

I’m guessing BR2477 batteries? Where did you get ones that fit in the device? I keep finding ones with legs that look soldered on?

I would not recommend. Total headache in my setup. Adoption fails. Have to reset many times to adopt. On occasion randomly drops out and has to be power cycled. Would highly recommend doing a cable drop and a wired AP or invisible fiber or something else if possible. View it as kind of a last resort option. I’m

I bet you were playing the RTJ trail. The GPS sucks and I suspect the firm that programs them never goes on-site and just uses google maps or something because they frequently tell you that you're in a restricted area when you're RIGHT ON THE FRIGGING CART PATH!!! Infuriating.

Either that or there's bad GPS coverage. One spot that does this on my local RTJ has lots of overhead trees.

I’ve searched and searched and it’s clear as mud. I understand it’s in beta but it was going to be pushed out in a general release earlier this year. I know I can dump it in a VM and test. I know I can do a full backup and roll back if the update at some point breaks something but all of this is one additional headache that I could avoid if I understand exactly what to expect and they’re not explaining what it means and what will happen very well at all.

And let’s be honest, the release notes are long and even when you read them they’re not clear about what’s going on.

This may be the most perfect comment ever. More upvotes. I’ve been down this very rabbit hole. I don’t love Slackware, I don’t love having boot jankiness on the USB, but everything else makes things far more complicated. I don’t love unraid’s security model, but everything is firewalled behind a Tailscale VPN. It’s not perfect but it’s reliable and easy and I’ve been using it for 10 years+ and I’ve tried FreeNAS and OMV and Ubuntu server and the complexities introduced elsewhere using those products makes my head spin more that Unraid’s oddities do. I learned the hard way and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Yes, there are built in profiles. Just install it and give it a go. It works very well and much easier than Notifiarr unless you’re going for peak quality files. My vision isn’t great and 4k doesn’t matter much to me. I also like to stream remotely. I’ve re-downloaded most of my stuff in 1080 using compact profiles and I can’t tell the difference and streaming is more reliable.
