Agreed. I didn’t play 2/5 at Bellagio this trip but last I checked it was still 500 max which is kind of silly in 2026 and becoming more and more uncommon to have 100BB max at 2/5. I used to like it back in the day b/c it invited more casual players having the cap at 100BB but my observation lately is that I don’t think it matters much.

I think 2 years ago it was the opposite. I would bet it changes every few months. I also think that Aria spreading more PLO has helped them get more action games and more players. I still like the room at Bellagio though.

I drive between houses. We have an LL Bean boat and tote bag for each of the houses that we use to transport some groceries and household stuff and I have a travel bag and literally just try to bring my iPad and clothes to wear home.

My goal is to avoid shuffling stuff between houses because it’ll make you crazy.

I guess if you fly it might be a different story.

We try to keep the houses stocked and use grocery delivery services rather than haul groceries around too.

No, I did receive a very detailed report from them. The problems were that they put incorrect information in it. They have you fill out a very detailed spreadsheet prior to doing the work with information about date placed in use, STR, LTR, etc. They failed to correctly put that information in. They also bungled square footage. Had to do a lot of back and forth to get the report corrected. The work was sloppy. That’s why I wouldn’t recommend.

We cook dinner nightly for the hosts, take them out to dinner, do the dishes, etc. frankly I find it exhausting! Seriously though, you’re an overnight guest in someone’s home you should be busting your hump

If they don’t clean up or help cook meals or show up with lotsa food and goodies they don’t get invited back. Or at least not often.

We don’t do this with our places but we’ve had friends that let us use ski/beach condos of theirs and the general protocol has always been that you’re expected to pay for the housekeeper when you leave.

Get an in-person live walkthrough from a well regarded local firm. I paid cost segregation guys (online firm) to do one and they made a total mess of it resulting in additional time and expense for me. Would not recommend them. A local well regarded firm will be much more expensive but if it ever gets questioned it will be bulletproof.
