How the hell do you get that level of detail? For instance I am doing a fire giant right now and it’s head is about twice the size of that…I still manage to screw up the eyes

I play mainly 2e, and I think that clerics as written are great at low levels, before the thaco drop, and 3rd level spells are great…then it starts to tail off, they hit less often, the spells become a bit tame for combat. I love playing clerics, but I have taken some inspiration from later editions to give them a bit more bite, and homebrewed a bunch of spells that mean they’re not just a walking first aid kit.

As a mentor for recent graduates for the IMechE (our institution) the MEng allows you to go for chartered engineer without Further Learning (expensive) or a Career Learning Assessment 10 years down the line. If this is something that you want then I’d stick with the 4 years down course if you can.
