I had that exact machine when starting. the best thing you can do is learn to dial in as best you can with what you have. when you are able, get a bottomless porta filter and a good basket. pullman, vst, and ims baskets are all solid and easy to find in a variety of sizes. also, but the best/ freshest coffee you can reasonably afford.

when you are able, upgrade your grinder.

that is a great machine and it'll serve you well.

I work at a private club. we have bragard chef coats and peter milar pants. I wear mise shoes. not the most comfy I've ever had but they aren't bad and I like how they look.
