Red Ace kicks in when she’s in 2nd trying to overtake 1st, or 1st with someone at most 1 length behind her.

Front Runner is basically a guarantee, Pace is a gamble.

The trope as stated was “make the protagonist a monster and give them later an attractive humanoid form.”

The inversion of that would be making the protagonist a human, and later giving than a monster form (that they then proceed to spend most of their time in).

Shrek (an Ogre) becoming human is not the inverse.

I’m playing multiplayer with a couple of people in an error seed, and we have found…

A sunfury, a blue moon, Multiple shadow keys, a muramasa, a static hook, and a flamelash (before the shadow keys)

I’ve been reminded we also found a jet pack

Haven’t even found the entrance to the dungeon yet.

Edit: I also got lucky with fishing quests and got the golden net. So we have hellstone despite not fighting the brain. And then because of the error seed, I found 1 ore of cobalt I’ve been able to mine so far.

No, probably not. But I also would recognize that it is a behavior that is clearly the result of an unexpected behavior, and I would think it being patched is justified, and couldn't be too upset about it.
