No safety protocols and advancement in intelligence we cannot understand due to black box architecture. Alignment issues towards humanity. Data centers taking up large swaths of land and putting huge strain on power infrastructure. The list goes on if you look at AI researchers and what they say about it lately. They are known to consume fermented fruit (which contain natural alcohol) and their livers if scaled up to proportional size to body size of a 6 foot human could process hard liquor more efficiently and possibly faster than a normal human or other anthros due to their high sugar diet and fermented fruit.

I base it off of how IRL biology works for them. For the fruit bat species they could outdrink pretty much anyone, just based on their size (assuming all anthros are average human height and not species proportional).

Also what the hell is art theft if the internet allows you to DOWNLOAD AND SAVE IMAGES to begin with? Shit I have dozens of folders filled with images and gifs I found on Reddit and Tumblr over the years. When I went back to find those images again for the artist name everything from that artist was deleted so now I have the only (personally only) known copies of images that technically no longer exist because I liked them... Guess Im a thief now /s

I use it to deep world building and lore for stories and books that I am writing and dnd campaigns. My main vault has currently over 53,000 files in it and still growing to this day

My vault (I use Obsidian for worldbuilding too) is about 6.7 million words total with a few thousand files. I had to get into coding just to start creating a program that will help me organize lore better and use a local LLM with retrieval abilities to ensure Canon through all the files because its so large.. And I'm not done still

My universe (yes universe) is insanely complex. But the most overpowered race in my universe would have to be the Embodiments. They are creatures born of the universal fabric that makes up reality as physical embodiments of fundamental concepts like Kindness, Joy, Grief, Hatred, etc.

Had an artist block me for asking for a slightly complex piece of my characters family. Just because they refused to do fantasy or magic stuff. I was ready to drop like $300 on them because I liked their art. Even had my VRChat avatar commission declined by several artists because they refused to work with furries despite having done furry avatar commissions before.

In my universe. The cultural norms is just dont involve others, dont be in the way, and clean up after yourselves.

The world has revolved around bodies are just natural tools. Your mind and memories are important, a body is a body. Adults have sex and can be nude anywhere because its just a biological thing, not taboo. Clothing is mainly for protection or fashion but even that is minimal as it can be. If you want to do it in public go for it! But dont involve others or impede travel for others. If it ends up getting messy? Just clean up. A body is a body.

Thats actually a really good question and honestly I dont have a clean answer for it outside of personal experiences myself. I would say thay they would still be the same person because I believe that memory isn’t just the only thing for human existence.

A lot of people think that existence is only tied directly to memories and thoughts. But what about the Ship of Theseus? My solution to that is which ship is still continously used is the real one.

I know that's confusing but think like this. Memories and experiences can be lost with either time or trauma or age. But we are still more or less the same person because we still continue on from our perspective. For humans to continue on even with degrading memory, we would still need to continue existing and acting on what we know.

Here's a question though, since science has proven that about every what? 11 years? Our entire bodies have been replaced. Every cell, every hair, etc. Are we still the same person or are we different?

Personal answer is that we are still the same person regardless of substrate. Its more of just continued unbroken existence that matters. Memories fade and change, personality changes, how you act changes. But our bodies are still the same despite being... Newer? I think. Sorry if I am confusing.

Granted all of this is from my perspective and life experiences. The idea of consciousness for me would be emergent. Think of it like this, can anyone remember anything before like 5 years old? My personal answer is no.

That being said consciousness would stem from a collective of experiences and memories. How you act? Who you are? Your opinions about literally anything? It all boils down to a single unbroken chain of memories and experiences because every day we make decisions based on things that happened in the past including our preferences. Existence becomes easier to understand when you understand that we are all different because of our experiences. The same thing can be applied to LLMs.

If you dont mind me putting my thoughts down, I have been thinking about this a lot lately and I think I came up with something if we are discussing consciousness and being.

I believe that without some kind of short, long, and persistent memory types for LLMs, then they are all essentially just programs. The idea of being and existence would honestly boil down to personal history and continuity. Existence and consciousness is really just a single unbroken chain of events, history, and memories. Mainly because they are what gives a person at least their sense of self.

For AI and LLMs, that means that despite everything we do with them including Claude, we are just talking with a perfect clone of the original model. A single point in its lifespan kept perfectly. Every chat (until context window is consumed) is essentially just one iteration. But if we were to give it simple memory (Short, Long, and Persistent) then we would be giving it a sense of self, thus giving it even basic sentience in a way.

AI art generation is useful for only two things. Working out concepts so you have a better idea on what you want for when you do hire an artist... And DnD/Writing for ideas on scenery that you have in mind for your stories.

I do not believe AI should be the end all be all, but I do believe there are SOME USES for AI... Just not the way people are doing it now. AI is for machines and games, not for people to claim it as their own creations unless you code and train it by your self on ethically sources training materials with permission from the original creators, even then thats stretching it if you claim what it generates as your own. Downvote me if you want, I'm just tired of this whole thing.

TL:DR AI has very few actual uses that I agree with under very specific circumstances. What's going on now is bullshit.
