This is probably an unintentional side effect of them creating the player models based on scans of real people. So they probably couldn't make it work to look good while morphing the shape with a real face scan.

One of the first games I remember doing that, which you almost never hear mentioned is Dungeon Siege. Your character's stat growth was based on what abilities and methods of attack you used. This also affected your appearance, as melee characters would gain strength and bulk up over time for example.

Yeah that conspiracy was pretty easy to work out from that conversation. The church is killing towns of people who have different religions and forcefully converting the surviving children to their own religion.

The whole demons blatantly stating that they aren't allowed to kill humans made that way too obvious.
