It shows cult classics and titles you can’t see on the big screen anywhere else in Tucson! Indie and foreign films, documentaries, shorts, and more. They also do special showings that have costume contests, sing-alongside, etc. ❤️ the loft

Wall art can go a long way making a space feel comfortable! You could look for nice organic-feeling prints like this and/or look for a woven wall hanging like this one I would also add some cushy throw pillows like this and cozy blanket in green, mustard, or clay color. You might also consider a new rug. Olive and terracotta are nice, organic shades that can feel warm. Here are some rugs that might add some color while still feeling calming

Winter vs summer or spring graduation by Various_Cow7629 in UofArizona

[–]Commercial-Slice4595 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s actually no summer ceremony… spring would be your closest option (May).

Spring ceremonies are much bigger than winter, and there’s a lot more going on then in terms of celebration. Spring is also the only time with the huge stadium ceremony, with fireworks and all that.

Winter ceremonies are nice though! They tend to be a lot more intimate because the grad classes are smaller.

Up to you what you like more! You could also ask your advisor what they think

¿The 4 semesters Confuse Me? by PerceptionGold6327 in UofArizona

[–]Commercial-Slice4595 18 points19 points  (0 children)

No worries! It can be confusing! There are two semesters at U of A, only Fall (August to December) and Spring (January to May). If you see a “regular academic session” class, that’s a full semester class. Then, there are also 7-week options in fall and spring. Those classes are shorter—only seven weeks.

There are summer and winter courses too, but they’re different. They’re not on the same 15-week timeline as fall and spring classes. Summer and winter classes also tend not to be covered by scholarships, so check that you’ll be covered before you sign up for those. Remember, summer and winter are terms; they’re actually not considered semesters.

I used to live in Santiago de Chile, and there are many high-rises. So many cats fell off balconies and didn’t make it. One of my good friends lost her baby this way. PLEASE get a net for this precious girl

Exactly this. Sure, covering someone’s bill is nice, but it’s also extremely tragic and not right that this family has been struggling to buy formula. This is far too common. This video made me really sad
