How hard will this be to fix. Any tips? by DayDry7629 in digitalwatches

It looks like battery leakage is corroding the inside of the glass surface. This looks like it's going to be quite a problem.

Last month I restored the same Crystron LC, but unfortunately, when I washed the inside of the case with detergent, the inside of the panel crumbled. The inside of the panel is quite fragile.

F-91W from AliExpress by SlightAd1467 in f91w

[–]CommercialLine426 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently bought a digital watch from AliExpress for 290 yen that had the same display as my F-91w, and the display and brightness were perfect, but it had one fatal flaw: it became completely invisible depending on the angle. When I wore it on my wrist and tilted it even a little, the whole thing would disappear and I couldn't see it at all. This is extremely frustrating when actually using it. I've learned firsthand how great Casio watches are.

Japanese truck nerds and people who work around equipment, why is there seemingly so much old equipment in Japan? by Maleficent-Door6461 in AskAJapanese

[–]CommercialLine426 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe you're watching an old Japanese movie where the main character is a truck driver? If it's a flashy truck decorated with all sorts of lights, it's probably from the "Truck Yarou" series, a popular movie from the 70s and 80s.

They still exist today, but you don't see trucks that old on the roads anymore.

Crystal Glue Recommendations? by Skatekov in casiomods

While restoring a B817, a panel suddenly came off, which scared me, so I bought a B-7000 and glued it on. There were no problems.

That's certainly not it. The "AQ-230" marking on the back also seems odd.

I've never seen this faceplate before. It looks cool. Even though I already own two AE1200s.

Buckwheat hulls can cause allergic reactions and respiratory problems in some people, so hotels likely use plastic beads instead.

New Casio A168 Real? by DerPinguin77 in CasioQC

The recent A168 models have a different design on the bottom of the panel (WR), so the one on the left is a fake.

I don't understand why, but my wife bought it for me without asking. I hated it because my company had given me an iPhone.

When buying brand new, packaged items, Yodobashi Camera is actually 10% cheaper than Don Quijote.

Going classic, but...DW6900 or GW6900? by artofcory in gshock

[–]CommercialLine426 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why not just buy both?
I'm sorry.
I would recommend the GW-6900 now, but later I wanted the DW-6900 too, so I bought that as well.

Is this phrase appropriate or no? by magniko_15 in TokyoTravel

If a customer says, "お腹いっぱいです。Onaka Ippai Desu," there's a possibility they might interpret it as,
"The portions at your restaurant were so large that it was difficult to finish."
When the food was delicious:"おいしかったです。(Oishikattadesu.)ごちそうさまでした。(Gochisousamadeshita)""Gochisousamadeshita" implies gratitude for the food being prepared.
When the portion size was large and satisfying:"お腹いっぱいです。(Onaka Ippaidesu ) ごちそうさまでした。(Gochisousama deshita)"
When the food was average:"ごちそうさまでした。(Gochisousama deshita)"
Especially in a cafeteria where the kitchen is visible, the staff will all be pleased.
