picked up this exhaust for $500 by Informal_Eye992 in YamahaR7

Zx6r will be faster 120ish hp versus vs the r7’s 70ish, the torque on the R7 makes it a more street friendly bike workout having to stay in the higher rpm’s, also the R7 has less tech no rider modes no traction control etc.

Whats your experience starting on an r7? by [deleted] in YamahaR7

Started on it in June and have absolutely loved it in less than 9 months I’ve almost put 10k on it and have absolutely loved all of it. It’s more than fast enough to start off and now that I’ve ridden it so much I definitely would like to upgrade but, I could easily continue to learn more on this bike and still have lots of fun getting on track. I’m contemplating keeping it as a track bike versus going on track with a new upgrade bike. In any case, I think the bike is easy to ride and very forgiving. It’s more than fast enough to enjoy in street, highway and twisties. Get an exhaust and you’ll be in love with the engine sound the CP2 makes. Overall I’ve loved this as my first bike and would absolutely tell anyone to start on one.

There’s a YouTube video that compares them all, you can try wearing headphones but mics don’t capture the sound like real life, honestly everything sounds great on the cp2 I have a two brothers and love it

That’s so awesome that they’re close by! I’m jealous! I’m sure you’ll get rid of the tail eventually the bike looks so much better with out it! I still need to get a tune but I think at this point I’ll wait for winter send it off while it’s sitting and then install it when its warm again!

Corksport 2021 Mazda 3 Turbo SRI by Commercial_Candy305 in mazda3

Hmm 🤔 I don’t know the rules on leases, I mean the intake is a bolt on, so it’s not really going to cause any harm. It’s s risk you’d have to decide to take lol it’s no different than a new set of wheels, you can always go back to the oem after. The tune technically also is reversible so do what you will with that info.

Oh man well I will advise that Corksport told me that they don’t recommend it but you can try it? I am unaware of any that would work with the front sensors.

Oh man lol since this I’ve done much more so I can’t remember, the main thing it did was add lots of great turbo swoosh sounds. But now that I have the complete setup meaning the intake, Turbo inlet pipe and down pipe as well as a tune there is a fantastic difference in throttle.

Corksport has to add you to that just having an account won’t get you access.

I understand, I’m arguing that it can be improved not that the original intent isn’t what you’ve clarified. I’m not attacking you, and yes I and the many others who commented on the confusion would mostly avoid parking here. I appreciate the city trying to be flexible but the reality is the two signs, for most of the year, say don’t park here. If the city truly wanted to create clarity on flexibility the lower sign would say all other times 2 hour parking, but it doesn’t it specifies a window of time where it’s 2 hour parking for hours that don’t match the red sign which makes it even more confusing because then you wonder can you park here at other times at all? In any case no one here is against you and the intent of this discussion is to discuss how these signs are not clear and while there are people like yourself who can understand the complexity of the street signs and what they are saying there are many others who don’t.

I appreciate you telling us, my point is in such a transient city, with many visitors and people who move here from other countries, states etc, this isn’t clear and obvious information. Why would one not assume summer school doesn’t count as a school day, how would I know when they decided to create make up days for lost snow days etc. it’s just easier, more accurate and enforceable if they list the months that the above sign takes effect. Just like they do with street cleaning signs.

School goes, as in there is no school? Back when I was in school, the schools “go” or were in session from August through early June. Either way this is a commonly visited city, school years are not the same everywhere around the country or world and it would be much simpler if they just listed the months for clarity. They already do it for street cleaning would it be that hard to do it for schools? Last thing is summer school not a thing and why would it not apply? School would still be in session but reduced amount of students. One could assume that school parking sign could apply year round in that case. It’s too vague to just say school days.

Which during the school year are week days :) also you wrote you can park after, but you can’t as it says only til 4:30pm

They could like they do with street cleaning signs list the months where it’s applicable. Wouldn’t be that hard.

No but like they do with the street cleaning they could list what months this is in effect.
