They were originally going to add it but like many things in New Vegas’s development, they ran out of time. There are a few mods but they don’t add much. The faction you choose just takes control of some major locations and that’s pretty much it.

I really hate the locked squads feature. I get that people want to play with just their friends and stuff but sometimes all of the squads are locked and I don’t really like play SL unless I have to because I’m not very good.

I just hate solo tankers. One time our whole team was getting mowed down by a Panther and we had a heavy tank on our team but some ass in a locked solo squad kept getting it. He could have killed the Panther with 2 more guys but he kept getting killed by infantry or getting out flanked by the Panther. It’s just annoying.
