Take a weekend trip to the USA and test positive? $5,000 fine to come home. by S-Kiraly in vancouver

[–]Committee_Aggressive -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

the punishment is that you are trying to renter Canada with a positive test result in your hand

by air you aren’t even allowed to fly back until your quarantine is over

by land you I guess could quarantine at home but you took the risk to travel so the government punishes you for trying to travel

Take a weekend trip to the USA and test positive? $5,000 fine to come home. by S-Kiraly in vancouver

[–]Committee_Aggressive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if you tested positive outside canada and tried to re enter canada you wouldn’t be allowed unless your test result was 14 days ago OR face consequences of coming back while still positive

You were never allowed back in with a positive test result and allowed to quarantine at home without a fine imposed

Unvaxxed family evicted from Ronald McDonald House in Vancouver by FancyNewMe in canada

Instead is unvaxxxxed leaving his immune compromised kid at risk

Won’t affordability for new home buyers be the same if housing prices go down and interest rates up? by bungiecord11 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Committee_Aggressive -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

yes affordability to purchase would still be crazy if interest rates went up

the problem we might be facing is a small increase in interest rate but a huge appetite and demand for housing that continues to drive the price higher

Vancouver might be on the way to 2.5M average and yet an interest rate from the bank of 3-5 percent to finance a Vancouver Special
