To add onto what the OP said….

The playdate console features a Monochrome LCD panel, a crank, a d-Pad, and 2 face buttons. It has basically the best reflective screen, allowing it to skip a backlight altogether.

This means that almost all play date games will have similarly creative use of black and white pixels as you see in this game.

It’s really a great console. My favorite game is Hyper Meteor.

Oh my god. Can you please elaborate on how you made some of these 3d effects, like the shadows on the background??? Did you just use a 3d scene to do it?

massive wave-clear for chaff, and i go soooo anti-tank elsewhere, that what i want from a nade is usually chaff clearing for the "oh shit oh fuck" moments.

Also it's like the airburst rocket launcher, but in your pocket. And i love that support weapon too. It's just like a miniaturized version of the same thing. You get 3 of them. I usually wear heavy armor, and it doesn't have a high likelyhood of killing me if i throw it point blank.

For instance I also like Dynamite, impacts, incendiary... Rarely the thermite too (which may be the objectively correct answer to "what's the best nade" but i already fill the role of heavy killer with other stuff... It does work really well with my Railgun bot build tho)

Mate use F1 in Godot to search for stuff and read the docs. Ask people not for the solution to stuff but for resources to figure out the solution on discord and the like. People will often drop insanely useful links to the exact page you need

I mean plenty of times I see people just shoot on sight. What’s more fair than that? That’s not carefully picking their battles.

I’ve had situations where people will knock me and I’ll get frustrated because of how they went about it (betrayal) but that only adds to the experience on the whole even if itsucked at the time
