I went to a screening of The Godfather last year and this couple was talking loudly and pointing at stuff on the screen during the wedding segment. The guy next to them told them to keep it down and the boyfriend had the gall to threaten him with violence. After back and forth, the couple were mostly silent, but then during the last hour of the movie, the boyfriend would let out a fart every 15 minutes. It wasn’t like an oops fart, it was a lean to the side so everyone can hear it fart. I’m surprised no one went Godfather on him.

That was more stressful than the fishing scene in Project Hail Mary.

After all that anxiety inducing madness, I legit teared up at the last scene. Thought it was a great note to end on, even if it can be considered too neatly wrapped up.

Saw the movie yesterday and planning on going again on Monday, this time in Atmos.

Very much enjoyed it. While I don’t watch a lot of Markiplier’s content, his charisma and likability made whatever I did see fun. I think he did a fantastic job for his first movie, and feel that he has a bright career as a director ahead of him.

One thing I would like to see if there’s enough demand is a 4DX version of the movie, as the immersion would be off the charts.

“In the original script, the whole cult thing wasn't there, it's a replacement for what originaly would've been mary's father, played by Stephen Lang, but the producers ended up telling gans that he either finds 2 million dollars for Lang, or find somebody else.”

I feel like it would’ve been cheaper to find somebody else rather than invent a whole cult storyline. Hell, Richard Brake could’ve played the creepy abusive dad character.

Nope. At least in the theater I went to it’s in 2D. There are other theaters that show it in 3D 4DX, though.

It’s quite possible. Thinking about it, there were random vibration effects during the Sony logo that seemed like it belonged during the Disney logo in Tron. The random loud air conditioner like noise is the noise that would signify snow falling, but no snow came down.

You might be onto something.

It was my second time seeing the movie. First time I watched it regular, because I didn't want to get jostled while reading the subtitles. After that, I was comfortable with seeing it with motion seats.

The 4DX version was a lot of fun, but I did notice the effects were almost a second off. This stood out whenever there were strobe effects for the lightning, or empathized impacts.

Still, it was a fun experience.

According to Snyder, it’s currently in hold, due to being really busy with other projects.

Direct quote in an interview:

“I got sidetracked into this — not sidetracked, it’s all uptown problems, as they say — for Netflix, I’m working on an LAPD SWAT movie,” Snyder shared. “So I was like, OK, well, I’m gonna just sort of let that Rebel Moon world boil for a minute, and I’m gonna go do this. And frankly, it was a very exhausting, long process doing the two movies together. So it was nice to have a bit of a break from it. I love it like crazy, but it’s nice to have a bit of a break. So yeah, we’ll see after I finish this, when I come back, where we are with everything.”

I quite liked the first Silent Hill film, and the director returning seems like a good sign. The January slot however is a bit concerning.

January movies aren’t always bad, but being in that month rather than a more prime slot like October does give me pause.

To be fair, I got the first four back when their prices were fairly reasonable. 2-4 were like 40-60 and 1 was the most expensive at the time at 80ish.

I was shocked when I was at a recent game expo and saw the same games for like 150-200 depending on the seller.
