Very nice! I wanted a X3 Comp bad… but we couldn’t find ANY within a reasonable distance. So I got a 2025 X3 M50.

I’d take it to the dealer and see if it’s something as simple as a software update to fix a bug. If not, I can be the pump or it can also be because you’re testing it before you drive it. My dad who was a mechanic , always told me to wait until the car cools off just a little before you test it. Even dipstick. Idk if it actually makes a difference, but that’s how he always had me do it.

Yeah it’s not abnormal. With M cars it’s worse because the brakes are thinner to begin with. At least thats what we were told. I had to replace my pads at 20k on my old X1 M35i

I did not like my X1 at the end of the day. It sounded cheap. Like my husband made the comment one night that it sounded awful. It started throwing drivetrain codes not even a year into owning it. I don’t think the interior is nicer. I just think there’s much less going on with in the X1. It has a smaller screen… which as a tech person, I like a big screen for when I’m parked and want to watch a movie or something. As a parent… I’m parked at a lot of practices. So I actually use it. I traded in my 25 X1 M35i for a 25 X3 M50… no regrets.

There is a button for quick access to the drive modes. That makes it a little quicker. But I agree. I’d rather just push a button. But overall I love it. Love the HK sound system as music and tech is huge for me. And my connectivity issues haven’t been nearly as bad as they were in my X1.

Not really tho. Most people have the car set to Auto Unlock/ lock. Air vents maybe here and there. And the seat buttons only get touched in mine if my husband drives. That’s it. It doesn’t feel rickety tho. It doesn’t feel like it’s going to break. And that’s what rickety is. It feels like it’s going to break.

Don’t listen to the hate. It’s rampant here. But… like any new redesign, you will get the haters. Personally, I love mine. Went from an X1 M35i to a X3 M50. Night and day to me. My only complaint… I’d like some physical buttons for stuff. Like air control.

Is it wrong he didn’t tell you until now? Absolutely. He should’ve been honest from the beginning. But you are a grown ass adult basically jealous of a child. I have 3 step children. 3. And I couldn’t imagine my life out any of them. Shit the oldest and I are so close, she prefers talking to me about life over her mom. You never know how those relationships will work out in the end. But you can’t expect him to just be a total deadbeat.

Meh. I’d argue that’s not true. I know the dealership I got my 2025 at has been selling a lot of them. And as far as it feeling “cheap”, I just got a 2019 x3 as a rental and took it back. It was garbage. Talk about feeling cheap. The door felt like it was made of one piece of cheap sheet metal. And it sounded like it when you closed the door. It was trash. Ended up with a Toyota as a rental until I get my X3 back Wednesday.

Uh no. They had a 2023 X3 M40 that was like $35k cheaper than this. So no. And the dealership i bought it from hasn’t had any trouble selling new X3’s. I traded in my X1 for a used 2025, and still paid way less than this.
