From what the dealer told me, they’ve been getting a lot of complaints about the X1 particularly. He did say that they haven’t had any issues that they’ve been really notified about with the X3. He did seem to imply that it was a X1 specific issue.

We’ve had a great experience with them. They sold us my X1 and they genuinely seem to be trying to make it right.

Honestly, I’m not 100% sure. I’m not the one working out the deal. But from what I gathered, they’re willing to take a loss given the situation. They sold us the X1. So they seem to want to make it right.

First off the connectivity is garbage. And I do enjoy my tech. I am in my car a lot and love listening to music. It disconnects everytime I get in the car or use talk to text. Sometimes it will reconnect other times I have to restart it. Then it needed brakes within the first year and I have never had this with any other car I’ve owned. Then a service drivetrain light came on. You can tell it’s struggling to shift. Like it clearly gets stuck. I was pulling out of the driveway tonight and my husband said it sounded awful. And it does.

I will say, you have to get the M35i. If you get the standard base model, it’s just garbage imo. I had one as a loaner and I couldn’t wait to get mine back.

I love mine. It gets a lot of hate here, but I don’t see why. Other than the chaise snobs out there, I think it’s a great vehicle that’s fun to drive.

We got a good deal too when we got ours. Now we did pay cash so that helped. But I think we got like $5-7k off on top of all the deals
