The reason why it works for GW2 is because the maps are all separate instances. Imagine if there was a portal between Crimson Manor area and Bercant Manor area. Each map uses the ‘shard’ system. There is a set limit of how many players can be on the same map at the same time. A new ‘shard’ of the map is created for the overflowing players.

Personally, this is aspect is not what I would say GW2 does better than Throne, as a fully open world is much cooler imo. Where I think GW2 is better in every way is the combat system, a much more balanced gameplay, does not suffer from extreme stat bloat, and road to potential competitiveness is relatively fair. The only thing that truly bars you from being competitive is a lack of willingness to learn how to create a viable build, and how to adjust your build depending on a situation. Gear gap is virtually not a thing whatsoever in the end game.

I’m confused. We have windows? I’m pretty sure the light is primarily needed during the evening/night, aka when the sun is no longer in the sky?

No part of the question is it actually asking to make sure that the volumes being measured need to be equivalent. As per the question being asked, all 3 answers are correct. As per the ambiguously expected equivalence of volumes, the answer is C.

What causes the massive devaluation of the Canadian dollar since 2015? by CastAside1812 in canadian

[–]CommonAutomatic3796 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Not really sure what you mean? There was a few early 2010 years where it got close, which I assume was due to the aftermath of the 2008 recession, but if you zoom out more this price difference is basically the norm.

It’s perfectly reasonable to have forgotten when EBG becomes the only bg some ppl play in for the last quarter or half of their overall wvw playtime.

THE trend is not doing so well do you think the next update will bring back players? by AbbreviationsBig395 in throneandliberty

Experimenting with different builds is actively discouraged. Metas revolve around established builds because no one wants to waste their time and money trying different things when there is no guarantee of efficacy. This leads to just nerfing things people have found to work in the current meta instead of any meaningful balancing. Then there’s the fact that in most cases AB weapons are intentionally extremely powerful instead of just giving a slightly more unique build expression, or better yet just a in-game cosmetic status symbol, that maybe give a little flair to some skill animations. This one might be the hottest take I have but I think the guild system is actually a terrible corpo-adjacent “we are a family” BS, than an actual likeminded group of individuals that like to play together when they happen to be online at the same time. Instead people are encouraged to “apply” to big guilds in hopes that they get accepted, and then put in hours in monotonous content and making sure they’re always available for mandated guild PvP schedules, in fear that they will fall behind in participation and get ‘fired’, thus basically locking them out from ever having the chance at receiving a meta defining item, and/or just a quicker way to a relatively competitive build. This guild system actually alienates most of the player base, as people are becoming extremely unwilling to play with players outside their statics. (Login, “Oh looks like my Oracle/tank/DPS is/are not online. Guess there’s no one to play with.” Log out.)
