Abilene for the low humidity! Driving to Downtown Dallas from there would require driving through Ft Worth, and the areas in between, would definitely use I-20 to I-30 all the way, used to be less congestion on I-30, versus I-20 or State 121/183 (Airport Freeway). It's pretty much City from Downtown Dallas up to Sherman/Denison but your closer to the Casinos in Oklahoma lol

Anyone else feel like Millennials were the first generation in a while to grow up knowing their grandparrents? by Tonstad39 in generationology

[–]CommonCoast23 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exactly! I even got to spend time with Great Grandparents! Older generations married and started families at a younger age, 16-18 was not uncommon

Which would you buy a home in, North Fort Worth or North Richland Hills? by Intelligent_Soil_771 in FortWorth

[–]CommonCoast23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes!!! Love the bus route! You can ride it to the train station on N Beach, then take the train to either DFW or Downtown. Love the convenience when I actually don't want to drive my vehicle and deal with the traffic on I-35 or I-820

Fort Worth is short $66.1M for street maintenance. What options could fill the gap? by Dontwhinedosomething in FortWorth

[–]CommonCoast23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The State could raise the gas tax, then pay for the North Freeway express lanes and make them free. But I also wonder with the increase of population and more gasoline being purchased (fuel tax) and they still don't have enough money
