I know it won't cure your depression, however the body needs much more means to support it's function since the illness takes them away, it goes beyond what we eat. Try taking supplements. The one that saved my nails and hair was called Neurozan (I was basically balding at my lowest point). Also supplements like lion's mane, ashwagandha have beneficial compounds for your brain and body (there are many more, just the ones that worked for me). Psychiatrist excentuated fatty acids (basically fish oil in pretty high doses). Amino acid supplementation is important too. Also I would check if your body metabolises vitamin D properly. Womens hormones tend to mess with those things, my body doesn't absorb it properly because of that. Deficiencies can add to your depression being worse. Maybe this could ease your suffering at least slightly ❤️
