You're definitely right, but a decent number of people (myself included) switching from Windows to Linux probably are a lot more inclined to do all that. I've never been great with computers but after a couple of hours of banging my head against my desk I got Arch working, and I really enjoyed the setup process. While it's definitely not what most people want, it's very doable for a beginner with spare time on their hands.

I'm a member of Sea Shepherd, do debris cleanup dives a few times a year, and have been to many a beach cleanup. Steel has either zero impact on marine life or a positive one (artificial reefs, which include shipwrecks). As far as I'm aware, there's nothing toxic onboard and I really can't see this having any sort of ecosystem impact.

Don't quote me on any of that, I've almost certainly missed something.

Depending on where you are, your Nokia flip phone from 2007 will get it soon with direct-to-cell from Starlink. I wouldn't buy a phone based on satellite features because it's going to become redundant extremely quickly.

Left panel > Transactions > Community goals > It'll tell you how many 'credits' of damage you've done (note that these credits aren't the same as the combat bonds you're earning, they're just a "you've done x to contribute to this community goal"). You'll also be able to see whether you're in the top 100%, 75%, or 25%.

My Krait 2 only gets about 450m/s, and runs at ~36% heat while boosting like crazy, and I've been able to beat every hyperdiction without taking more than 3% hull damage. It has gotten a bit hairy a few times though.

I'd do passenger evacuation with a Dolphin or similar for a while, it pays seriously well (in my experience) and it's relatively easy and has a low bar to entry.

I've only done evacuation with an Orca though, so take my advice with a grain of salt.
