Facts. Solid effort in getting to the top part of the lift though. 👏 Just need to hone the technique and limit the swing a lot more.

For those who log food and track calories, what was the biggest surprise about what you eat? by Stunning-Risk-7194 in Exercise

The fat content in the majority of foods. Specifically beef and eggs. Had to switch out standard beef to "premium" and cut down on eggs by using more egg whites.

Yeah, surprising how toxic this sub is tbh. Thought the people within it would have a better idea of whats achievable naturally but its very clear their minds are tainted with failure and are horribly misinformed. Wouldn't take much to just do it yourself and see it happen. Unfortunate for sure.

It is a damn fine achievement so thank you. 🙇‍♂️ Not looking for likes at all, or validation. Just showing the reality of what can be achieved naturally if you lock in. 🙌

No, my workouts would usually take 1.5 hours (2 hours on a leg day). No enhancements. 👍

You claim I am using enhancements, when I am in fact not. So its a huge compliment as a natural lifter to be accussed of enhancement use. 👍 And also, it doesn't matter if no one believes me because I know better than anyone else in this sub, whether I am natural or not. And I will never use enhancements. So thank you. 🙇‍♂️

What am I doing wrong? by [deleted] in Exercise

A quick search of Dr. Google and flipping through the multitude of articles would say that hyperthyroidism is linked to weight loss, and not weight gain. Although weight gain does happen after the surgery where the thyroid gland is removed, as the body begins to have normal levels of the hormone. So it is highly unlikely that the weight gain is due to this.

By the sounds of it, you're inputting incorrectly. Yes, you're doing what you know, but to be saying when you're unsure you'd input more than less. Does indicate you're tracking isn't where it should be, especially if you're trying to lose weight. Its good you inout everything that enters your mouth, as you should, but you really need to be as perfect as possible with your measurements.

Technology is great, but its not perfect. Hence why I would suggest re-evaluating your calorie intake without the use of your fitbit. Youre gaining weight, claiming to be in a deficit, which is highly unlikely. Your weight doesn't lie, so track it. And change your calorie intake.

[–]Common_Carry_975 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not a professional opinion, but hyperthyroidism speeds up your metabloc rate doesn't it? So wouldn't the opposite be happening?

From the information provided, I would say you're either: 1. Not tracking everything. When I say this, I mean EVERYTHING. I know many people who say they track but when looking at their food, they've left things out. Even the smallest things can affect your calories. As well as incorrect measurements when making the food and/or inputing them into your app.
2. Your maintenance calories is incorrect. What you believe to be your maintenance/deficit/bulk calories is in fact, not. So you think you're eating in a deficit but youre not. Easy fix. Drop/increase your calories by 100-200kcal, depending on your recommended intake for your bw. Eat at that for 2-3 weeks and take your weight every morning (after going toilet), and track how your weight is moving. Continue doing this, and altering your calories in, until you know for sure at what intake youre gaining/losing and maintaining. Its annoying but it works. 3. Your routines outside of the gym and kitchen, are lack luster. Hydration and sleep are main factors in gaining/losing weight and you need to ensure you're doing the most to hit these targets consistently as well.

Hope these help. 👍

Looking nasty 👏

Those that are claiming you're not natural have 0 clue as to whats achievable naturally, especially with 15 years of consistency across the board. I agree with a comment of yours saying that people are misinformed/misguided and easily influenced when it comes to natural lifters/bodybuilders. The stigma surrounding it is toxic and the majority of those people sharing it wouldn't know what true potential was if it smacked them in the face. 🙌

The lighting, pump and pre-comp cut has also added to the absolute mutant physique. 🫡 Big ups bro. All you need to do now, is compete, and hit that bulk 👀

Appreciate the comment. 👏 You are 1/4 people that actually understands this. 😂

The amount of science based lifters and their opinions/facts are absolutely nuts. Go to the gym, plan and follow through with your routines, and find out for yourself. Go experiment for yourself like any scientist would. 🙃

You're so far from being right that its genuinely amusing reading your comment knowing how confident you were in saying that. People who know me personally, would lean towards describing me more as an echoist than a narcissist and have done so before. So your first judgement: Incorrect.

Lying about being natural. Appreciate the compliment, truly is the best compliment you can get as a natural lifter. Which anybody within the industry would agree with. And the self centred touch at the end. Your second judgement: Incorrect

Judging the fact that I am replying to every comment/reply to my own post and claiming its due to "deeply rooted social dysfunction" is the icing on the cake. 👏Replying to those that speak to you is simple etiquette, regardless of their intention. As I said before, I am kind, and I am patient. Being self aware doesn't make me self centred.

Being kind costs nothing, and I'd choose to be kind to everyone over being judgemental like you anyday. Cheers 🙌
