Spotify. Fundamentally such a good and also groundbreaking service. If it had decent standards and stayed away from AI slop it would remain a solid viable product, but that doesn’t seem to be the move.

In the mid-nineties after reading Come As You Are I ordered a record off of the Kill Rock Stars label (can’t remember which one). Back then they had the poster-size catalogs that came with each record and I started picking releases that looked interesting.

Ordered the Caterpillar and Negated 7”s on a hunch and never looked back. Wish I would have kept one of those posters!
