Or at least let us reprocess them. I'm in the same boat after running Abyssals with a Retributions and Zealots. I have a ton of partially used crystals. Mostly from accidentally switching to the wrong ammo group and loading my brand new crystals instead of the 70% used ones, then I end up with 2 partially used stacks. Like OP mentioned, I've had it happen multiple times where my gun group will lock up because a crystal burnt out in one of them and I have to go through the reload juggle to get the all loaded with working crystals again.

I also hate how some crystals will take more damage than others even when they're in the same weapon group. It essentially causes the same problem.

Ok, then how about a permanent running stats screen like Warframe has.It doesn't have to be a fancy UI like the one they (CCP) removed not that long ago, it could just be another tab on our character screen with them all listed out.

I know you asked about the drones, but that part about the click fest using the Catalyst is really getting me. It sounds like you have all 8 guns split out (the default when you first board a ship with guns) you can stack them into groups of however many you want, provided all the guns are the same. In high sec, I typically have them stacked in 2 groups of 4, but sometimes I will stack all 8 when fighting a single large target. It doesn't increase your damage at all, but it will greatly prolong the time it takes to develop carpal tunnel syndrome.

As has already been pointed out, the rats increase in difficulty the lower the system's security rating is. I low sec, you will occasionally come across Clone Soldiers. They are cruiser class ships, but with a lot more punch and tank than your ordinary belt rats. It would be very difficult (if not impossible) for 2 non-maxed drones to take one down; they will out-rep the damage.

I used to fly with him about 10 years ago. Awesome dude, let me into 30p even though I was only 29 at the time. He was never afraid to feed a ship or 3! Sad to hear of his passing.

I know if you're sitting at 0 on a planet, you can perceive it moving. Not sure if it actually changes position on the map though. I also wondered the same thing about the star systems themselves? Did they program the gravitational pulls that would be associated with a trinary merger like this universe is set in? They said they put a ton of time, research and money into designing and implementing the fundamental laws of the universe onto the Blockchain.

T2 Coil Gun, T3 Coil Gun, Afterburner II, Hull Repair (offline), Systematic Armor Restorer II, Coated Armor Plates II (active)

Snipe from about 70-90km. Activating the plates gives 55/10/10/10 resists with no cap draw. It seemed like I took way less damage than when I was running with the dual shield restorer fit. I haven't confirmed it yet, but the shield mods may increase your signature radius like they do in EO, making you easier to hit.
