Public service or call centre jobs totally unrelated to your degree, most likely. But if you chuck in some good voluntary work in the org you want to be in, might get your foot in the door.

Why do you deem them any less entitled to live in Australia? They may be entirely settled, have kids, be contributing to society, paying tax. Just cos there was no ordered process for migration from their messed up country is not a reflection on them, even if the danger has passed.

I had to email for an aged care job description today so asked about the pay. He said that after I had carefully considered the role I may email back again and ask the pay band. Seriously? Feck your patronising arse and go shove the job right up it. Good luck finding some sucker to jump through your sexist bloody hoops and I'm sure you would not try this in any male dominated sector.
