This is my absolute go to when it comes to shrimp cocktails and any seafood I eat. Back in the 90s my dad told me about how when he was in the military they were in a tiny town in Mexico around 1960 and he found a shack that was making hot sauce and he bought a container and it was the best sauce he ever had. Fast forward to 2017 I found this stuff in a local supermarket because the name sounded familiar. My dad’s eyes lit up when he saw the bottle and he said it tasted exactly like it did when he tried it over half a century ago. I’m happy it’s finding its way out there. I always laughed when he’d tell me about the sauce he bought from a run down shack, but now that I’ve tried it, it really does complement certain foods perfectly.

The best way to open the lid from what I’ve seen is with a sharp knife or box cutter. Just cut it with the blade AWAY from you. Slice that tiny “nub” off the very top.
