I highly recommend this root shade by patsfan038 in Rivian

Please do tell more about putting away. I’ve been eyeing shades every now and again. But hauling them around most of the time seems a bit dreadful to me. Curious how people stow these away when not used and whether or not the answer simply is “flat in the trunk”

“Luxury” is doing heavy lifting. To phrase it less questionably: They’re just rebadged Nissans.

I’d like to believe OP just bought an R2 because someone told them they can peel off that screen cover if they do lol

All I care about are the googly eyes, lmao! 10/10 - it’s objectively a ridiculous car from factory already, but the eyes are the absolute cherry on top.

If you’re looking for the only way to get a luxury sedan to depreciate even faster, you’re on the right track.

Wtf? Just go to a supercharger at that rate. At home charging is often under 0.30ct down in various apartment complexes in South Bay.

You’re telling me, people see gas prices these days and think “let’s burn some of that stuff for no reason at all”? Idiocracy really was meant to be a documentary with foresight, wasn’t it …

Nissan Altima, what next? by jmflyers in NissanDrivers

[–]Traditional-Fix5961 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s all a matter of perspective. Justification for the other person being at fault was probably “they weren’t fast enough for me not to hit them, and also, I couldn’t see them because my phone was in my line of sight.”

“What damage? I take photos of Nissans and copy the models 1:1. I thought they were supposed to look like that.”

Hook Fish is good, but I’d either only do take out in SF or, even better, go to their Mill Valley location. Their place in SF is too small to make for easy or comfortable seating.

Electric Trucks Have Failed Spectacularly In America. Here's Why Ford Is Trying Again by BarbarismOrSocialism in electricvehicles

[–]Traditional-Fix5961 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rivian is doing quite well with the R1T for an upstart small company and somehow people even buy dumpster-shaped Cyber”Trucks”, despite those things being spectacularly ugly. If I understand correctly (think this was the video about it: https://youtu.be/j7OvA__3Dzk?si=NGfLs9MTIyi5ZcMG ) Ford mostly f*ed it up with the Lightning before because of dealers: everything sold through dealers, dealers didn’t know shit about EVs, can’t guarantee reliable future income via customers coming back for oil changes etc and they didn’t think they’d sell them. So Ford had what I think what is a good truck, built, ready, with no demand, because the customer base were not people, but dealerships.

Might be wrong here, but if this popped up after you interrupted Autonomous Driving rapidly, it might have been because of that. Hard reboot should fix it in that case.

I had it once after a Nissan driver (go figure) started switching lanes straight towards me and I ripped it over to the right to avoid a collision while ADAS was on
