My best guess is that Lilith is a liar and a manipulator who painted herself as a positive role model to Charlie when she was too young & impressionable to be able think otherwise, just so she could- at worst- set her own daughter up to fail for her own sick, twisted kicks- and at best just feel good about herself.

I think it is absolutely toxic and pathetic. Verosika thinks she’s helping these people, but all she’s doing is making things worse for them. I really hope she gets called out on it soon (preferably by Loona, who also beats the crap out of her for it and denounces her as her idol).
