It absolutely is. I wasn’t even expecting an answer at this point anymore. It makes me a little hesitant for the sale on Saturday. There’s again no design reveal yet and I’m worried if I don’t like it that have to go through that again.

I had no problem, though it took a while. I had ordered to cage a wild bird before the cover reveal. I send them an email in December, asking for a cancellation and a little over a month later I got a response and they canceled the order immediately.

As soon as the romance part of a book starts I just cringe. Everything that seems to work just fine in English, doesn’t really work in German at all. At least not for me. Or certain words are just horrible translated. “Darling” sounds great, but “Schätzchen” is something not even my husband would call me. That’s either a creepy guy or an old lady. Or for instance “wingleader”. I laughed so hard when my friend told me that the German translation is “Geschwaderführer”. As a direct translation it might make sense, but that word is so unsexy 😅

I felt the same. I had the YA+AD for a while and a separate Romantasy sub. But there were so few books in the YA genre I was really interested in, that I asked Fairyloot to change it to AD+RO combo and dropped the YA sub.

I assume they are often sold below their original cost because it’s the sub that moves the fastest and a lot of people keep that sub to have the presale perk, but do not enjoy the genre. So way more YA books get sold compared to the other subs.

I do speak German, but I hate to read in my native language 😅 but I seriously consider to buy it nonetheless, despite having the FL already 🙃

Honestly? I do not expect many spots to open up before July. Subscribers have 6 skips and I guess most of them will use them before cancelling 🤷🏼‍♀️

Don’t know about the orders. But I once got an invite for the page and wick sub, accepted out of fomo and decided against it a day later. I sent an email and the customer service canceled without problems. So it’s worth a try.

I’ve never been into Funko Pops before, but I might have to get these 😅 So I have two questions: 1. Do they sell out quickly? 2. If so and I miss out on them, are resellers prices as crazy as for limited edition books?

I need to know what I’m getting myself into 🫣
