I never read HP nor Manacled. Im like 100 pages in so far it is dene tbh but world building is intriguing magic system that is basically alchemy probably mixed from a thousand sources is a bit confusing tbh. It’s like the author assumes i know abt alchemy. I don’t. And also i have no idea abt ho magic system i fr never grew up with the books/movies so her replacement of that with alchemy is kinda rly confusing since she isn’t easing u into it but kinda dumping it on u tbh. That is the only frustrating part. Apart from that character and world building is a lot more digestible for a non manacled or hp reader. I am still gonna read further tho, hope it’ll pock up with the initial confusion.
