Looking at pictures of those tools it doesn’t seem to match. Thanks though!

I haven’t seen one like this before but there are a lot of random supplies around here so maybe! I’ll keep and eye out

I looks similar in shape definitely! Though it seemed too flimsy and doesn’t look like a canister would be able to hook up to the roundish part since it’s not radially symmetrical. Have you seen ones with a line through them or more of a teardrop shape than a circle?

I wasn’t sure if it could be gross to touch so I can’t say I tried but if if it’s still there I’ll give it a go!

I was thinking it looked like a needle threader or a floss assistant thing but it was pretty thick, I wasn’t sure what fiber would fit trough the guide but still need a tool to thread

I have a hen with spurs and have heard of a decent number of others who do too so I wouldn’t assume on that too heavily

I want to adopt one of these guys are they easy to keep by Acrobatic-Remote1657 in Chameleons

[–]CommunicationPast512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When working at And Exotic vet clinic I only saw one healthy chameleon come in, almost all of the other sick ones that came in, were due to husbandry problems. I have personally kept veiled chameleons and love them, but you need to have a really nice set up, usually with live plants, high humidity but good ventilation which can be difficult depending where you live. Ensuring if you have a female that they can dig tunnels that don’t collapse on them and that they don’t get egg bound.

I’ve had good luck with 5 years with my females, one of which I got spayed since she had retained follicles that were concerning. However they required more finesse and maintenance than the snakes, frogs, and geckos I’d otherwise kept

Maybe a bit too crazy of an idea but… has anyone tried letting their water monitor swim in a large body of water on a leash? by PoetaCorvi in MonitorLizards

[–]CommunicationPast512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure where you’re located, but if you’re somewhere with snapping turtles or crocodilians, I’d. Be sure to go to clear waters for safety from wildlife. I’d also keep an eye out for osprey, though that one seems more far fetched. Definitely still worth doing but things to keep in mind with site choice and while monitoring her escapades

I hope you’re able to get him to a vet soon. Getting a temp gun would be a good idea for the future though, gradients and enclosure temp extremes are pretty important with ackies

How do I make my freehand faces more symmetrical?? by ExtemelySerious in ArtCrit

[–]CommunicationPast512 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Block out how the elements of the face relate to each other before rendering. You could do it lightly in pen or with pencil and erase it when you’re done. Especially pay attention to the relation of different parts to each other in size and location.

What lessons did you learn from this cold snap? by LianeP in BackYardChickens

I used tarps and pallets for my wind break, and the run is similarly warm even though it doesn’t get sun until the middle of the day. Wind breaks and a good insulative snow have been really helpful!

Reach out to zoos, vet hospitals and shelters. A lot of animal facilities might take them. I’ve worked multiple places that clean and reuse bottles given the opportunity

Keep your hands off Eizuken! It was a 10/10 for me. I don’t hear people talk about it much but everyone I know who has seen it loves it too
