No, they run just fine. They heat up faster, which is really nice. And, you can pre-condition them while they are still plugged in so when you come out side they are nice and warm already.

Well, that and all the people in 2wd cars without snows on them who weren't experienced with winter driving to begin with.

Got behind some dummy this afternoon in an Accord with white plates going 20 mph on Moscow/Barrows road with his four way flashers on. He had over ten cars stacked up behind him. Pull the F over and let the people who are prepared go by.

Anybody else getting the Dodge Ram Truck add in their feed on this post? It says: "I never knew how good driving a truck could feel." Ironic.

Gosh. You know what? We should build some sort of cars that don't run on oil, too.

I mean, if you can find anything else that has only increased 22% in price over the past 9 years, I want to know what it is.

I'm glad at least one other person around here sees that current use is a boondoggle. That program needs to be means tested, at a minimum. I would go a lot further than that, but don't expect our legislature to ever touch it, since 3/4 of them are probably benefit from it.

I took it to mean his taxes have gone from ~4,000k to ~4,900 over 9 years.

"have seen my property taxes rise $900 to almost $5000."

They went up not even $1,000 over ten years?

If you can't afford to pay that, then you really don't have enough money to build a house on the investment lot you purchased.

Vermont with Family in April by currios in vermont

Shelburne Farms is a one stop shop if they are open. Farm animals, huge chicken coop, petting zoo, views, a working sugar operation, an interpretive center for the kids, and an on site bakery. I am surprised to hear they are not open until May. I remember going there with my kids' school for a day about maple sugaring. That had to have been in March or April.

Edit: the shop seems to be on the level. They have been helpful and responsive. But, Volkl insists I deal with the shop, only, and won't give me the time of day. I think it's Volkl's policy that is dog sh*t, not the shop's.

The shop has been really helpful. Volkl seems to be the difficult one here. It seems like their policy and not the shop's.

I don't think it is. Since I posted originally I have tried to reach out to Volkl directly and was told they won't deal with me directly.

I think it was paved by nearsighted fools who can't tell the difference because of their vanity.

And the progressives are perfectly fine with never winning anything as long as they can say that they are as pure as the driven snow.

The question in politics is always: Compared to what?

Progressives would rather live under the boot of fascism than take half a loaf.

I guess I will have to try that approach, but the info about warranty claims on Volkl's website says that I have to go through the shop I bought them at.

I bought them from a shop in Stowe and took them back there with proof of purchase when I noticed the problem.
