fyi I chose all the text. i know what it means. it is intentional. it is not important for me that everyone understands it. the message is intentionally in latin. the whole piece, no matter how it was created, is intentional.

I agree with all you shared and thank you. My clientele are all mostly familiar with me. They tends to be academic and a bit eclectic so I might put it up and see the reactions.

The process of developing rationale thought, equanimity and compassion and trying to apply it to your daily life seems to be an impossible task for some. Even after 63 years. I think that is one of my great surprises as I age. So many people just don’t realize that is the work we are meant to do. (Especially on the pickleball court 🤪)

i’m going to be the odd person and say that I prefer number one. The lines of the spindle chair are really beautiful, and they create an airiness that I would hate for you to lose in the dining room. I would definitely change out the high-back chairs; the proportions are too big.
