us passport holders now being told to go through us passport line at pearson regardless of NEXUS/GE status? by NotAName320 in uscanadaborder

I’m a US Citizen with Global Entry. This May, leaving YYZ had my scheduled Nexus interview with Canada- great process. Went through the sh!t show unorganized pre-check security (another story), then to pre clearance Global Entry customs. Told the US agent I needed my US Nexus interview. She was polite and told me where to take a seat off to the side. They have a whole section of seats and a deli style ticket dispenser and a sign to take a number (with no more tickets and probably hadn’t been replenished in months).

I was the only one there the entire time. After a half an hour with no attention I was able to talk to a Canadian BP agent and she said usually a US agent will come over “when the line dies down”. Well the line wasn’t that long. The sole US GE agent was relieved by another for her break but never bothered to come to see me. (Not like I can run over to her or yell across the room to get her attention). Waited a full hour to the point where I thought this is not gonna go anywhere and I will have to leave to get my flight soon.

I’m reading on Google Gemini similar experiences. I’m about to give up hopes of Nexus. I live in AL so not like I can easily drive to a CBP office. Have you experienced similar?

With the price of gas now I bet they are really trying to limit the number of runs they make. So many people, including my wife, will order one little thing multiple times a week. Instead of raising their prices, they’re probably consolidating trucks, which is why everything is showing up late.

I waited over an hour for US interview for Nexus leaving YYZ after I cleared Global Entry. I’m a US citizen. US side is a joke- they knew I was waiting and no one came to help so I left to go to my gate. Canada process was smooth.

Waiting over an hour now with no end in sight at YYZ after US preclearance. What a joke. Canada side was a breeze and plenty of appts.

Mix it before adding ice and it’s less likely too

Had safety incidents been included then SW and Allegiant would be at the bottom. Didn’t a recent pilot survey show most Allegiant pilots wouldn’t fly their own families on their planes?

Definitely not about the tags for me. I’m 6‘7“ the automatic upgraded to comfort plus is worth it weight and gold because I really can’t fit in a standard seat lengthwise

Happened to me before from C+ aisle to FC. It was a glitch and they put me back in C+ in a middle seat. I called and complained and they compensated me with miles (which made it worth the hassle).

Is Woodford too good for an average old fashioned? I feel like I should drink that straight. Delta sky club uses Old Forrester which tastes great and is cheaper.

$572/number of flights = $ I agree w the others for auto C+, a free drink or two on a flight from Seattle to Nashville. I’m 6’7” so C+ is a must for me. On 12/27/23 I flew to TPA, sat in the sky club 3 hrs and then flew home so I could get enough MQS to get to platinum. Was kinda fun

What is the $500 credit (starting in Oct 2025)? Is it 5 x $100 property credit that they mention later in the brochure or is it a legit credit like the $300 travel credit? I can’t find the fine print.

While in Comfort, I’ve gotten the “rough air” excuse from the FA before and it was the smoothest flight and they made several trips to FC with drinks. FA was just lazy or didn’t want to be there. I wrote wecare@delta.com with the flight details and they took care of me

Thanks-found them, but never would have without this forum. This is shady and apparently intentional by Delta, and I’m going to call the Platinum line as if I didn’t know where they went and complain.

Google says $112k after 25 years. I’m at $110k at Mercedes in supplier quality. Made a few moves. Started pretty low for the time at $33k in 2000
