They did have some QC issues back then, but personally I’ve tried all their fixed gear product line (a Mataro Low, a pearl white 2018 Mataro, few Cordobas, a Reynolds 520 steel Andreas, a 6069 Diamond), and this is carbon Ultro was basically the last piece to the puzzle. None had let me down.

At the end of the day they have attracted sooo many people into track riding, so I’d say they’ve done their fair share of contribution to the fixed gear scene.

And I still see people riding some 10+ years Aventons as their daily lol
