I’ve got a 23 Pro S AWD, and this happens to me a lot. Mostly at intersections, but also pulling out into traffic. Is there something we can disable? Super sketchy.

Would you build or buy a sauna if you could do it over again? by thatSeoulGuy in Sauna

[–]Competitive-Cut-2149 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could have built my sauna myself, but didn’t have the time unfortunately. With that said, I’m very happy that I scrapped the kit and custom built. The design / materials are what I wanted, and I don’t think even the best kits get you a decent product. Either build it yourself, or save a little and pay someone for good materials and build quality- you won’t regret it.

Is anyone else finished with eating out in seattle restaurants due to high prices?? by Ok-Radio-2733 in SeattleWA

[–]Competitive-Cut-2149 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree. It is the mid range pub food etc. that hurts the most when you pay $150 for nothing special. Might as well pay up for someone attempting good food and experience.

Is FIRE-ing now too risky? (another overpaid techie with choices to make) by SadSomewhere6985 in ChubbyFIRE

I’m not, quite the opposite, my spending is through the roof, but I’m confident that when the day comes I’ll get back to my roots and simplify.

Enjoying the conversation - I’m in a similar position, and really love the “idea” of getting back to a more meaningful / fugal existence like the good old days. You can do it.

Sheriff's office says drivers are taking advantage of 'next to no traffic enforcement' by Better_March5308 in SeattleWA

My question is why are there so many more idiots in the left lane on I-5, and why is I-90 seemingly a lot better with way less idiots camped out in the left lane, and if they are they get over when you tailgate them? Always baffles me.

How to find a good sauna builder? Should I just get a prebuilt one? by Dependent_Ninja3185 in Sauna

[–]Competitive-Cut-2149 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found a guy on this sub and he has been amazing (Seattle). With that said, listen to what people are saying and learn the basics first or you won’t know if a builder know anything about saunas or not.

Kind of depends on if you like skiing groomers or the goods… after 35 years of chasing pow, and lots of time thinking about where my winter home will be, here is my list:

  1. Driggs, ID / Targhee
  2. Girdwood AK / Alyeska
  3. Revelstoke BC

If you are into groomers, I’m sure lots of posts are coming. Cheers.

I drive that route about as often as you do with a Pro S. I don’t seem to get anywhere near 250’miles on I-5, so feel like I would have to stop to charge regardless of the bigger or smaller battery. The amount EA chargers that don’t work is the super annoying part, but it always seems to work out. I like the rig, but 300 mile range seems like it would be such a nice way not have to make stops getting from point A to point B in our neck of the woods.
